   Multiple Player Chess Game for 2-8 players
4 curved game boards: Measures 26 1/2 inches across
8 sets of chess pieces: King measures 2 3/4 inchesObject of PI: Team Chess Game: The object is to eliminate all other kings on the board or win by the point system. Keep all pieces that your team captured together. Using the point system (see below), the winner will be determined by the total value of the captured pieces. To begin: Start with blue players, go counterclockwise, red, green, yellow. 1. Each set of partners controls 2 armies-a light and dark color which are set up back to back on each connecting board segment. 2. Both armies can travel around the board in either direction. 3. PI: Team Chess Game follows all the rules of regular chess. 4. Normally one army means one move. Now, the players have 2 armies which means 2 moves. 5. Each team has the choice to take two moves with one army or take one move using each army. A different piece must be moved during each move. 6. Pawns only move forward. Pawns in the light army move to the right. Pawns in the dark army travel to the left. En passant and promoting of pawns applies as in standard rules of chess. 7. Major pieces can move forward or backward. However, the king must stay on his own board segment. 8. If there is an opening, a queen or a rook or any other piece besides the king, can move around the entire playing field. 9. If on the first move of a turn, an army puts an opponent's king in check.The team should finish their second turn, but cannot checkmate the king. The king that is in check must be taken care of immediately on the first move for that army. 10. When one king is captured, it is removed from the board and its set continues in play under the control of the remaining king. That team continues to play with two moves.
